GOOD HEALTH IS A RESOURCE - Matthew 8:14-17
What Does it Say?  v14-15 Jesus healed Peter's mother in law with a touch and she got up and cooked dinner for them.
What Does it Mean? Several years ago, I went to our paster requesting prayer for healing.  I was given a short Bible study asking why I wanted God to heal me.  I had never really thought about why I wanted to be healed other than it would feel a lot better.  The message I heard from God that day was that God doesn't just heal us for our own personal comfort.  He wants a relationship with us and He wants us to introduce other people to Him using whatever resources He gives us.  Good health is a resource.  When Jesus healed Peter's mother-in-law, her first response was to get up and serve Him.  She used her good health to cook a meal, something she knew how to do.  Healing comes in many forms; emotional, physical, spiritual, relational, etc.  What would you like Jesus to do for you?  How can you serve Jesus more effectively if He heals you?
