GENTLE LEADER - Matthew 13:36-43
What Does it Say?  After the crowds are gone and Jesus is relaxing with His disciples, they ask Him to explain the parable of the weeds to them again.  After Jesus explains it, he says that anyone who is listening will be allowed to hear.
What Does it Mean?  Have you even enjoyed a productive day with someone you looked up to and then relaxed in the evening talking about the day?  That is what the disciples were doing with Jesus.  They felt comfortable with Him and asked Him to explain the parable to them again.  They must have been thinking about it and didn't fully understand even though He had talked about it a couple of times.  It is an important concept to grasp.  When they ask Jesus, He doesn't hesitate to explain it to them again.  He is not frustrated with them for asking or think they are dumb.  Sometimes the Bible is hard to understand.  There are times when God tells me a truth in when I am read my Bible and I know what He is saying, but I don't understand why He is telling me.  Usually before the day is out, I understand and am glad God had given me the information before I needed it.  God doesn't mind if we ask Him to explain a truth again, He will never treat us like we are a bother or refuse to help us.  He says that whoever wants to hear, will be able to hear.  We may never understand why God allows things to happen and He doesn't promise to explain, but He does promise to help us understand spiritual truths.  Jeremiah 29:13 promises that we will find God if we seek Him with all our heart.  God is approachable and He welcomes your questions.
