What Does It Say?  v16  Herod was really mad the wise men did not come back and he ordered that all boys under 2 years old be killed.

What Does it Mean?  God allowed Herod to kill all the babies in Bethlehem in Herod’s effort to make sure his throne was not threatened.  Have you ever wondered why God allows innocent people to suffer?  God is a gentleman and he does not force himself on anyone, not even evil people that cause great harm to others. God also brings good out of bad and nothing ever happens that He cannot use.  He comforts the hurting and draws them close to Himself.  When bad things happen in your life, don't push God away in anger like Herod did.  Go to God, cry on his shoulder (write, pray, cry, sing, dance, whatever works for you), and let him comfort you.  Choose to forgive those that hurt you.  Forgiveness is something we do for ourselves, so we are not forever tied to that person trying to make them pay.  You can be set free!!
